About
Susan
Born?
Liverpool - I'm a Scouser!
Happiest
childhood memory? Definitely not school
- I hated it and first ran away when I was only six! I think the best times were seaside
holidays with my Mum and Dad...
First
kiss? I was seven years old and in love
with Peter, the boy next door. I think he's now something big
in road building in Cheshire...
Best
holiday ever? Travelling round Italy
with my cousin the year after I finished college. We spent five
weeks seeing everything and I'll always remember it as a really
sensual summer.
Pets?
My two beautiful Balinese cats, Trouble and Muddle - named for
their personalities!
Ideal
romantic interlude? Warm climate, eating outside, good food, good wine, back to bed...
not much sleep!
CV?
I studied psychology, became agony aunt for teletext, fhm
and that's life, then wrote 18 relationship books published
in 22 countries and 18 languages.
Why do you write about relationships? Because they fascinate
me - and seem to fascinate everyone else I talk to, women and
men!
Biggest
work high? Creating solutions, with
words, that may help people I've never even met.
Spare
time? I'm a bit of a workaholic, but
I like dancing flamenco.
Best
part of the day? I hate mornings, so
definitely late evening, curled up on the sofa with my cats and a crime novel.
Goal
in life? Change the world, just a bit,
through my agony aunt columns and my books.
