If you'd like more support with your relationship from other organisations, then here's how:

Relate - the couples counselling people - has local branches round the country. They offer counselling and sex therapy for any adult couple - or you can go on your own.

For details, please contact Relate (National Marriage Guidance Council) - www.relate.org.uk.

There are several other relationship guidance organisations that focus on particular groups.

British Association for Sexual and Relationship Therapy (BASRT) - www.basrt.org.uk.

Jewish Marriage Council - www.jmc-uk.org.

Marriage Care - www.marriagecare.org.uk.

Couple Counselling Scotland - www.couplecounselling.org.

London Lesbian and Gay Switchboard - www.llgs.org.uk

Samaritans (Header B)
If you need to talk confidentially to someone about your relationship at any time of the day or night, call The Samaritans. You don't have to be thinking of suicide they'll help anyone who needs to talk through their feelings, and will also usually have a list of resources in your area.

Ring 0845 790 9090 (local rate) - (1850-609090 in the Republic of Ireland) 24 hours a day 365 days a year, for the cost of a local call.

If you're deaf or hard of hearing, ring 08457-909192.

Write to Chris, The Samaritans, PO Box 90 90, Sterling, FK8 2SA or email: Jo@samaritans.org or go to www.samaritans.org.uk.

If you're getting stressed and strained by outside pressures - like the kids playing up, redundancy or a death in the family - go to your GP. He or she can refer you to a counsellor in your area. The following organisations may also help.
